Tiote back for Newcastle
Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tiote returned from injury after almost two months for Newcastle’s Barclays Premier League clash with Swansea.
The Ivory Coast international, whose future on Tyneside is the subject of increasing speculation, was joined by skipper Fabricio Coloccini and striker Leon Best in the starting line-up as Ryan Taylor, Shola Ameobi and the suspended Dan Gosling made way.
Swans boss Brendan Rodgers made two changes to the side which beat Fulham 2-0 last week as Joe Allen and boyhood Magpies fan Danny Graham came in for Luke Moore and Leroy Lita.
