Celtic should discover today if they are to face any action from UEFA after a flare was thrown from the section of the ground holding Hoops fans before last night’s Europa League game against Udinese at the Stadio Friuli.

The Hoops were this week fined £12,700 by European’s governing body after Celtic supporters were reported for “illicit chanting” in a previous Europa League fixture against Rennes at Parkhead.
