Andre Villas-Boas dismissed Manchester City’s seven-point lead over his Chelsea side as “nothing” after masterminding their first Barclays Premier League defeat of the season.

Villas-Boas’ Blues came from a goal down at a wet and windy Stamford Bridge last night to seal a controversial 2-1 victory and haul themselves right back into the title race.
