Court suspends Van Gaal appointment

A court in Haarlem has forced Ajax to suspend the appointments of Louis van Gaal and Martin Sturkenboom as directors of the Amsterdam club.

A court in Haarlem has forced Ajax to suspend the appointments of Louis van Gaal and Martin Sturkenboom as directors of the Amsterdam club.

The injunction to block the appointments was brought by Johan Cruyff against his four fellow supervisory board members Steven ten Have, Edgar Davids, Marjan Olfers and Paul Romer, who took the decision.
