Ireland to set up base camp in Gdynia

The Republic of Ireland will be based in the Polish city of Gdynia during its Euro 2012 campaign, the FAI said today.

In a statement, the FAI said the base had been chosen following extensive site visits to Poland and Ukraine as well as a final visit this week involving Giovanni Trapattoni and Marco Tardelli.
