Everton announces modest financial results

Everton chairman Bill Kenwright has stressed the cash-strapped club is doing everything in its power to back manager David Moyes as the search for a new investor goes on.

The Toffees today released details of their accounts for the financial year ending May 31, 2011, which showed their net debt remaining stable at £44.9m.
