Rooney set to face Basle
Wayne Rooney will begin what could be a productive 24 hours by carrying the striking burden for Manchester United when they tackle Basle in the Champions League tomorrow.

Dimitar Berbatov and Javier Hernandez (both ankle) have been ruled out and Michael Carrick is suspended.
Squad: De Gea, Lindegaard, Amos, Evans, Smalling, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Jones, Fryers, Cole, Fletcher, Young, Valencia, Park, Gibson, Nani, Giggs, Macheda, Rooney, Welbeck, Diouf.
