Trap 'set to sign contract extension'

Republic of Ireland manager Giovanni Trapattoni is set to sign a two-year extension to his contract, according to newspaper reports this morning.

Reports said the Italian, who recently steered Ireland to the European Championships in Poland and Ukraine, is expected to arrive in Dublin on Wednesday and put pen to paper on a new deal.
