Marc Wilson returns from injury at left-back, replacing Danny Higginbotham as the second change from last week’s 3-2 home defeat to QPR.

Stoke’s record signing Peter Crouch and winger Matt Etherington both passed fitness tests to keep their place in the side.

Blackburn also make two changes with Mauro Formica replacing the suspended David Dunn and Jason Lowe coming in for Michel Salgado.
