Whelan back for Stoke

Irish international Glenn Whelan comes into midfield for Dean Whitehead as Stoke prepared to face Blackburn at the Britannia Stadium today.

Marc Wilson returns from injury at left-back, replacing Danny Higginbotham as the second change from last week’s 3-2 home defeat to QPR.
