Victories for Peamount, Raheny and Castlebar in Women’s National League

Peamount United continued their impressive start to the Bus Éireann Women’s National League with an astonishing 7-0 victory over Wexford.

Meanwhile, Raheny United earned a hard fought 1-0 victory over Cork Women’s FC while Castlebar Celtic inflicted a resounding 5-1.

Peamount raced into an early lead against Wexford with two first half goals through Irish senior women’s international, Áine O’Gorman.

Her international team-mate Stephanie Roche scored her second hat-trick of the season in the second half as Sara Lawlor and Grace Murray added to Wexford’s woes later on to make the score 7-0.
