The board of Bohemians has said it is "actively working" to secure the future of the Airtricity League club.

The north Dublin club has issued a statement this afternoon in which it has thanked their staff, members, supporters and creditors for helping them to keep afloat despite their ongoing financial difficulties.

The club has debts of more than €4m, which has to be repaid by June next year.

The board said that meeting that target depends on being able to generate funds from the sale or lease of the club's home ground at Dalymount Park.
