Walters ready for crunch play-off

Jonathan Walters is ready to step into the breech to help fire the Republic of Ireland into the Euro 2012 finals.

The 28-year-old Stoke striker could be handed a first competitive start for his country in Friday night’s opening play-off clash with Estonia in Tallinn with Kevin Doyle suspended and Shane Long and Leon Best injured.
