Abramovich weighing up stadium options

Roman Abramovich was today pondering whether to make a revised offer to buy back the freehold of Stamford Bridge after Chelsea fans succeeded with a dramatic revolt against his stadium masterplan.

Billionaire Blues owner Abramovich and his board were forced to rethink their proposal to Chelsea Pitch Owners, which was seen as a precursor to a move to a new ground, after it was voted down at an extraordinary general meeting yesterday.
