Derry City hoping for bounceback
Derry City take on struggling Galway United at the Brandywell looking to bounce back from Thursday’s defeat to Shamrock Rovers, kick-off 5.00pm.
City’s title challenge is all but over after the 1-0 loss at Tallaght Stadium but Stephen Kenny’s side will still be looking to ensure European qualification.
Derry may have to plan without Eddie McCallion and Owen Morrison as both players are recovering from calf injuries.
Gareth McGlynn is another doubt for the Candystripes as he picked up a leg injury in Thursday’s defeat.
Galway boss John Brennan will be without the services of long-term injury victims Johnny Keane (knee), Eric Holland (hamstring) and Victor Collins (achilles tendon).
Jin Gu Kim is struggling with a hamstring strain, however, the South Korean winger is ruled out through suspension.
Laurence Gaughan remains out with a quad injury, but should be fit to face Bray Wanderers on Friday.
Ronan Caldwell returns from suspension, while Yob Son will also be included in the squad after recovering from a dead leg.
