Luiz a doubt for Blues

David Luiz could be rested for Chelsea’s Barclays Premier League game with Everton tomorrow.

The Brazil defender only returned to the club yesterday after playing a full 90 minutes twice for his country in the past week.

Fernando Torres serves the second instalment of his three-match ban, goalkeeping understudy Hilario is still recovering from a hip and back complaint, while Michael Essien (knee) is a long-term absentee.
