The former Spurs striker is rated as extremely doubtful for tomorrow's Euro 2012 qualifier against Armenia in which a draw would secure a play-off spot.

The absence of the LA Galaxy striker mean Kevin Doyle and Shane Long could be paired together up front.

A draw will secure a play-off spot for Giovanni Trapatonni's side while a win would make sure the Republic are seeded for the play-offs.
