Kelly out for Rovers
Shamrock Rovers will be looking to keep their title defence on track as they take on Bray Wanderers at the Carlisle Grounds this afternoon (kick-off 3pm).
The Hoops travel to take on Wanderers knowing that four wins in their final four games would see them retain their title.
However, the Hoops have not got the best track record at the seaside venue and must plan without Dean Kelly who remains out with a groin strain.
Craig Sives is also struggling with a groin strain but he is expected to make the squad.
Hoops boss, Michael O’Neill said: “The game against Bohemians on Wednesday night left us knowing exactly what we need to do now. If we win our remaining four games, then we retain the league, and that is our sole aim at this moment in time.
“Winning the four games will require us to take each game at a time and on its own merits, starting with Bray. We fully expect a tough game with Bray putting up a good challenge, and we will need to cope with that on the day.”
Jake Kelly and Adam Mitchell will be missing for Bray as they both serve a one-match ban having reached four yellow cards.
Otherwise, Wanderers have no injury concerns, while Sean Houston and Shane O Connor both return to the squad.
Bray boss Pat Devlin said: “It’s always great to be playing Rovers. It’s a big game. It’s probably a little unfair on them the number of games they have to fit in but I suppose that's the price you have to pay for success. We are all looking forward to it.”
