Wenger cool on van Persie talks

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says there is no need to make an “immediate issue” of Robin van Persie’s contract situation.

The Gunners captain still has a couple of seasons to run on his current deal and is no hurry to commit his long-term future to the club.
