A stunning Killian Brennan free-kick and a brace from Christy Fagan saw Bohemians maintained their excellent form with a fourth win on the spin at bottom side Galway.

Brennan gave Bohs the ideal start with a goal on nine minutes as his 25-yard free-kick flew past Conor Winn in the home goal.

Galway had defender Stephen Walsh sent off for dissent, his second booking, on 56 minutes before Bohs doubled their lead a minute later.

Laurence Gaughan pulled down Fagan inside the box and the Bohs striker dusted himself down to drive home the resultant penalty.

Fagan added his second of the night on 87 minutes when tapping home after strike partner Anto Flood set him up when his initial shot had been blocked.
