Duo ruled out for Hoops

Scott Brown and Anthony Stokes are out of Celtic’s Europa League group opener against Atletico Madrid in Spain tomorrow night.

Scotland midfielder Brown missed the last outings for both club and country with an ongoing ankle complaint.

Stokes injured his thigh in training while stopper Daniel Majstorovic is suspended after being sent off in the play-off second-leg tie against Sion and new signing Badr El-Kaddouri, on loan from Dynamo Kiev, is ineligible.
