Two goals inside four minutes shortly before half-time earned title-chasing Sligo a convincing win over free-falling Bray at the Showgrounds.

Following a bout of pressure, midfielder Danny Ventre opened the scoring on 39mins with a finish from inside the area.

John Russell, who'd scored in the win at Shamrock Rovers on Friday, added the second from John Dillon's cross.

Right-back Alan Keane, in his first start in ten games following injury, added the third goal on 67mins when heading home Iarfhlaith Davoren's cross at the back post.
