City search for Cook's replacement

Manchester City are beginning the search for a new chief executive after Garry Cook paid the price for an “error of judgement” yesterday.

Cook resigned from his position at the Etihad Stadium after an internal investigation concluded “there is foundation” in allegations he sent an offensive email to a player’s mother.
