Gerrard planning comeback date

Steven Gerrard is eyeing the Barclays Premier League clash with Tottenham in a fortnight’s time as a possible comeback date as the Liverpool skipper edges closer to a return after more than five months on the sidelines following groin surgery.

Gerrard, who has been absent since mid-March, admits he is desperate to get back on the pitch and has full confidence that the troublesome groin is now completely fixed and “as strong as ever”.
