Everton sign Argentine forward on loan

Everton have signed striker Denis Stracqualursi on season-long loan from Argentinian side Tigres.

The Toffees had a deal for the 23-year-old lined up earlier in the day but the move was dependent on a number of factors, primarily departures from Goodison Park.

However, with Ayegbeni Yakubu’s move to Blackburn expected to have been completed before the deadline, Everton were able to push through the loan.
