Warnock: Barton deal not done yet

QPR manager Neil Warnock has rejected the notion that the signing of midfielder Joey Barton from Newcastle is a “done deal” but would like to complete the signing this afternoon.

The 28-year-old is in the final year of his contract at St James’ Park and was recently made available for a free transfer after criticising the club’s recruitment policy via his Twitter account.
