El Zhar leaves Anfield

Liverpool have announced they have reached an agreement with striker Nabil El Zhar to release him from his contract ahead of an expected move to Spanish side Levante.

The 24-year-old joined the Reds from St Etienne in October 2006, scoring one goal in 32 appearances.
