Kean issues warning to Blackburn owners

Blackburn boss Steve Kean has sent a stark warning to the club’s Indian owners that they will have to splash the cash in order to avoid a bleak Barclays Premier League season at Ewood Park.

Rovers were beaten 2-1 by Wolves in their home opener yesterday after Mauro Formica’s debut goal was cancelled out by Stephen Fletcher’s header and a fine strike from Stephen Ward.
