Reds owner relishing new season

Liverpool’s principal owner John Henry is eagerly anticipating the start of the new season – having noted the optimism which was absent this time last year.

When the Reds kicked off their previous campaign they had a new manager in Roy Hodgson, whom many fans had their doubts about, and were still in the grip of the financial restrictions inflicted by Tom Hicks and George Gillett.
