Wolves striker Kevin Doyle is winning his battle to be fit for tomorrow’s opening Barclays Premier League clash with Blackburn at Ewood Park.

Doyle withdrew from the Republic of Ireland squad for the midweek international against Croatia due to a knee injury, but Wolves boss Mick McCarthy believes he has a “70-30” chance of being available.
