Trapattoni concerned by demands on players

Giovanni Trapattoni has voiced his concerns about the demands of the pre-season schedule after Kevin Doyle became the latest of a string of players to pull out of the Republic of Ireland squad due to injury.

It had been expected Doyle would feature in tomorrow night's friendly against Croatia at the Aviva Stadium after the Wolves striker received his first Ireland call-up since sustaining knee ligament damage in March.
