St Pat's players will now participate in tonight's second leg Europa league qualifier against Karpaty Lviv in Tallaght after reaching agreement with the club over payments.

The part-time players had earlier today pulled out of the tie following failure to agree bonus payments and compensation for their participation in the European campaign.

"Following discussions between our representative Stephen McGuinness of the PFAI, Fran Gavin of the FAI, and a club official, we can confirm that we have reached an agreement this afternoon with the club in relation to our requests," the players said in a statement this afternoon.

"We never expected this matter to go as far as it did, and we would like to thank our club’s fans for their support during this time.

"We have never lost focus on tonight’s game and are very much looking forward to this evening’s encounter with FC Karpaty Lviv."

Pats head into the tie at Tallaght tonight with a two-goal deficit from the first leg in Ukraine.
