Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov today attacked “fools and idiots” after defending his decision to remove Jim Jefferies as manager.

Jefferies left Hearts yesterday after rejecting Romanov’s offer to become director of football, with Paulo Sergio appointed his successor as boss.
