Swansea release Spanish striker

Premier League newcomers Swansea have allowed striker Gorka Pintado to leave the club a year before the end of his contract.

The Spanish striker joined the south Wales outfit from Granada in the summer of 2008 but fell down the pecking order last season after struggling with a shoulder injury early in the campaign.
