UCD fail to punish Dundalk for missed chances

Substitute Johnny Breen put the gloss on Dundalk win with a last-minute goal at Oriel Park this evening.

Daniel Kearns gave Dundalk the lead in the final minute of the first half from a penalty, sending College keeper Ger Barron the wrong way after visiting skipper Michael Leahy had fouled Marc Griffin.

Dundalk took a real hold on the game in the second half, but Griffin wasted two chances before his substitute Breen sealed the win with a close-range finish on 90 minutes.
