Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger led the tributes to his former captain Patrick Vieira after the ex-Manchester City midfielder announced his retirement yesterday.

Vieira, 35, brought an end to his 18-year playing career which included World Cup, European Championships, Premier League and FA Cup success.
