Rovers closing in on Mongongu

Blackburn appear poised to complete the signing of Monaco central defender Cedric Mongongu.

Mongongu is currently in talks with Rovers about a deal as manager Steve Kean attempts to plug the gap created by Phil Jones’ exit to Manchester United.
