Adam grateful for Reds chance

Charlie Adam has thanked Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish for showing faith in him after Blackpool rejected the Reds’ initial advances for the player in January.

Adam admitted it was a “tough” period for him during the winter transfer window when the Seasiders decided to resist Liverpool’s approach and hold onto a player they saw as vital to their hopes of staying in the Barclays Premier League.
