Galway's woeful run continues

Bohemians 2 Galway United 0

Christy Fagan's fifth goal in four games, and a late penalty from Killian Brennan, gave Bohemians a facile fourth win on the spin as hapless bottom side Galway lost for the 16th league game in a row.

Livewire striker Fagan turned to shoot home the lead goal after just 75 seconds following a quick throw by Bohs debutant right-back Mark O'Reilly.

Bohs utterly domianted thereafter with Galway keeper Conor Wynn making a string of top saves.

Fagan then incredibly hit the uprights of Wynn's goal three times inside as many minutes either side of the hour mark.

Brennan sealed the win from a confidently taken 74th minute penalty after Galway skipper Paul Sinnott hauled down substitute Aidan Downes.
