Zayed on the double as Candystripes cruise to win

The league's leading scorer Eamon Zayed maintained his superb form with a brace of goals as Derry cruised to victory at Hunky Dorys Park.

Central defender Stewart Greacen got forward to play the through ball and Zayed shot home off a post to give Derry a ninth minute lead.

Gareth McGlynn added a second on 62 minutes with a header from in-demand James McClean’s super cross.

Zayed then got his 16th goal of the season in the first minute of stoppage time, volleying home another cross from winger McClean.
