Bray Wanderers 0 Sligo Rovers 3
Matthew Blinkhorn scored twice inside the opening nine minutes at the Carlisle Grounds as in-form Sligo stretched their unbeaten run to eight games.
An early season injury had restricted Blinkhorn to starting only half Sligo’s games so far this season and he’d managed just one goal.
But he made up for it with a stunning opener after three minutes, chesting down Alan Keane’s cross from the right before blasting home on the half volley.
Six minutes later he was there again to confidently side-foot home at the near post from Joseph Ndo’s low cross.
Eoin Doyle added a third goal on 84 minutes when heading in at the back post from another Ndo cross.
The win moves Sligo up to second in the table until Sunday teatime at least.
