Celtic sign Kenyan teenager

Celtic stepped up their summer recruitment drive today as they secured a deal to bring Kenyan defender Victor Wanyama to Parkhead.

The club have agreed a fee with Belgian club Germinal Beerschot for the 19-year-old, who has accepted the personal terms.

A statement on the club‘s official website added: “Victor will join the club in the summer subject to a work permit and medical.”
