Shamrock Rovers will be looking to stay clear at the top of the table when they take on struggling Galway United at Tallaght Stadium tonight (kick-off 8pm).

Hoops boss Michael O’Neill has a full squad to choose from ahead of the game with no injury or suspension worries.

O’Neill said: “It’s another home game for us and one we’ll want to ensure we get three points from.

“We played well for a long period of the game against Derry on Monday night, and we were disappointed not the get the three points.

“We felt that overall we deserved the win on the night. But we didn’t get the three points and that is something we will want to make up for against Galway.”

United’s Stephen Walsh is suspended, while Sean Kelly and Jonathan Keane will both miss out with knee injuries.

Former Rovers striker Alan Murphy is a doubt with a groin strain.

Galway boss Sean Connor said: "It's difficult. We're low on confidence at moment. We've just got to keep working. We did one or two new things in training. Training has gone well this week. We just need a bit of luck."
