Former Newcastle manager Alan Shearer is one of a handful of candidates being considered for the vacant manager’s job at Cardiff City, it is understood.
The Bluebirds have been without a manager since parting company with Dave Jones on May 30 in the wake of their npower Championship play-off semi-final defeat to Reading.
