Sligo fail to break Dublin duck

Both sides had a player sent off early on as Sligo once again struggled in the capital.

Paul Cook's Bit O' Red had lost their previous three games in Dublin, but that might have ended only for the width of a post on 77 minutes.

Player of the month Eoin Doyle turned Bohs skipper Owen Heary to shoot, but saw his effort come back off an upright.

Bohs might then have snatched all three points five minutes from time. Brendan Clarke, however, produced the save of the night from substitute Christie Fagan.

Teenage right-back Daniel Joyce had a nightmare full debut for Bohs as he was shown a straight red card after just seven minutes for a bad challenge on Sligo skipper Richie Ryan.

Sligo central defender Gavin Peers was then also sent off on 20 minutes for a tackle on Anto Flood, his second booking.
