Fagan the hero as Bohs' overcome students

Christy Fagan was the star for Bohemians with the match winning goal on his full return from injury.

The win also ended Bohs' home hoodoo as they hadn't won at Dalymount Park since beating Drogheda United back in March, seven games ago.

The only goal came on 25 minutes when UCD captain Michael Leahy was adjudged to have handled Fagan's shot inside the area.

The former Manchester United trainee sent the spot kick low to the bottom of keeper Ger Barron's right-hand corner.

Killian Brennan rattled the College crossbar in the second half while Fagan and Ger O'Brien, right at the death, had other chances to extend Bohs' winning margin.
