Andrea Pirlo has announced he is leaving AC Milan after 10 years at the club.

The Italy midfielder revealed the news on the same day the club confirmed stalwarts Alessandro Nesta and Filippo Inzaghi have signed new one-year deals to stay with the newly-crowned Serie A champions until June 2012.
