Sullivan: Ba racially abused by Hammers fan
West Ham co-owner David Sullivan has claimed striker Demba Ba was racially abused by a drunken fan during the club’s end-of-season dinner.
Police were called to the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane last night following disturbances at the £275-a-head event, which was attended by players and executives from the club who on Sunday were relegated from the Barclays Premier League after defeat at Wigan and sacked manager Avram Grant.
