UCD 3 Galway United 0

Two goals in six minutes saw UCD bounce back superbly from their 7-0 drubbing at Derry on Friday to record their biggest win of the season.

Dean Marshall fired the Students in front from a 34th minute penalty after Samir Belhout had been taken down by Galway keeper Greg Fleming.

Darren Meenan headed a second to utterly deflate Galway when getting on the end of Meenan's delightful cross after Belhout had put him away down the flank.

A deserve goal arrived for Belhout 20 minutes from time when he finished off Meenan's pull back from the left after David O'Connor had begun the move out of defence.
