Ronan Finn scored a dramatic late equaliser to rescue champions Shamrock Rovers and keep them top of the table, if only just.

Trailing to Keith Buckley 73rd-minute lead, Finn dented Bohemians' hopes in cruel fashion as he headed home in a crowded area three minutes into stoppage time to tie the big Dublin derby.

Midfielder Buckley had put Bohs in front when bundling home after Liam Burns' header from a Killian Brennan corner had come back of the bar.

Rovers hopes looked to have ended on 81 minutes when substitute Gary McCabe was sent off for dissent towards linesman Mark Douglas.

But Finn's late intervention keeps Rovers top of the table on goal difference.
