Strong squad for Derry City

Derry City will be hoping to maintain their impressive start to the season when they travel to Terryland Park to take on Galway United, kick-off 7.45pm.

Stephen Kenny travels with a strong squad to Terryland with Barry Molloy and Ruairi Harkin the only injury concerns.

Candystripes boss Kenny said: “Last week’s performance against Dundalk was very good. The players passed the ball brilliantly on the night and thoroughly deserved to win. We played with great style and the challenge now is the level of consistency.”

Galway are looking for their second league victory of the season while City could go top of the table with an away victory.

Brazilian midfielder Eduardo Dusi could be in line for a start for Galway after an impressive substitute display against Drogheda.

Gary Curran remains out as he is recovering from a broken metatarsal, while there is a doubt about the fitness of Alan Murphy and Steve Feeney.

Murphy is struggling with a groin strain while Feeney is carrying an ankle injury and may not be fit enough to start.

United manager Sean Connor said: "We will be hoping for a nice evening for football and to maintain the crowds we have had so far this season."
